ME

I am a Chicago-based artist and an undergraduate student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. My practice includes both painting and printmaking, with a strong focus on materiality and surface.

ART

My work explores the relationship between physical forms and intangible experiences. I am interested in how images and memories shift over time, how recollection alters what was once real, and how that abstraction can then take on a physical presence again. Through different surfaces and materials, I examine how the passage of time, touch, and perception shape what remains and what fades. By working with different surfaces and materials, I examine how the passage of time, touch, and perception shape what remains and what fades.
